The Galaxy A71 5G is currently receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in Asia. The rollout has begun in the UAE with firmware version A716BXXU6EVL2. Samsung should soon cover other countries in the region and expand the release to global markets. The handset is getting the December security patch with Android 13. The 4G LTE version of the Galaxy A71 has already picked up this update, though it only got the October SMR (Security Maintenance Release). The Android 13 update for the Galaxy A51 5G has begun in Europe. According to SamMobile, users in France, Switzerland, and the Nordic region are picking up the new release with firmware version A516BXXU5EVL2. A wider release covering units in other markets, including the US, should be right around the corner. This device is also getting the December SMR. Samsung updated the 4G-only Galaxy A51 to Android 13 a couple of weeks back, seeding the October SMR to it. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is another new Samsung device making the jump to Android 13 in recent days. The cellular (5G) version of the Fan Edition tablet is getting the update in the UK. The new firmware version for this device is T736BXXU1CVL1. It is getting the November security patch with this release. Samsung should update the tablet to Android 13 in other markets in the coming days. This is the second major Android OS update for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. It should also get Android 14 next year.
The Galaxy A52 5G is getting the Android 13 update in the US
Samsung’s Android 13 rollout has also reached the Galaxy A52 5G in the US. The carrier-locked versions of this premium mid-range handset are currently picking up the new release. The updated firmware version is A526USQU7DVK3. A wider rollout covering all carrier-locked and unlocked units should begin soon. The handset is getting the November SMR. The international version of this phone, including the 4G-only model, has already received Android 13.
