The global OPPO Find N2 Flip is coming soon, as it reaches several checkpoints
The Find N2 Flip appeared on the FCC, BIS, Bluetooth SIG, and HTML5 certification websites. Those certification sites revealed some of the phone’s specs, while a live image got shared by the FCC. The phone surfaced with the model number ‘CPH2437”, on the FCC. It is 166.2mm tall, and 75.2mm wide, which is the exact same height and width as the Find N2 Flip announced in China. The FCC confirms that Android 13 will come pre-installed, with OPPO’s ColorOS 13, a global version, of course. The listing also says this is a folding phone, which is yet another confirmation. It has two batteries, one 3,110mAh unit, and one 1,190mAh battery. The overall battery capacity of the phone is 4,300mAh. The listing also confirmed that 67W fast wired charging will be supported. That only confirms the same charging the Find N2 Flip has in China. Wireless charging will not be supported. Bluetooth SIG certification confirmed the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 in the device. On the HTML5Test website, the phone scored 474 points out of 555, and that listing also confirms that Android 13 is coming out of the box.
The global model will be almost identical to the Chinese one, spec-wise
All in all, the global variant of the phone will probably be identical to the Chinese one, save for different software. Both run ColorOS 13 based on Android 13, but the Chinese variant comes without Google services, and more China-focused apps. There are also differences in the core ColorOS 13 design in China, the menus are a bit different, and so is the functionality. The phone will include a 6.8-inch 2520 x 1080 main foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 3.26-inch 720 x 382 secondary AMOLED panel will also be included. We expect the global model to offer up to 12GB or 16GB of RAM. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The phone will include stereo speakers, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ will likely fuel it, as it does in China. There is a slight chance OPPO may use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead, though. The global variant of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is expected to launch in Q1 2023.
