But the big question is, how do you access the Google Assistant on the Pixel Watch? Luckily, Google has provided multiple ways to do this. And that’s what we’re going to show you today. But first, we need to make sure the Assistant is enabled on the Pixel Watch.
How to enable Google Assistant on the Pixel Watch
Before we get started, you’ll need to actually enable Assistant on the Pixel Watch. Now it is very likely that you did this during the initial setup of your Pixel Watch. But if you skipped that step or it didn’t pop up, it’s still very easy to enable. Firstly, swipe down on your Pixel Watch and tap on the Settings icon.
From there, tap on Google.
Now, you’ll see an option for Assistant, tap on that.
Make sure that the toggle for Assistant is toggled on. If not, turn it on, and then you’ll continue the setup on your phone.
From here, your phone will walk you through setting up the Assistant, which includes setting up Voice Match. Now you’re all set. Google Assistant is now enabled on your Pixel Watch.
How to use Google Assistant on the Pixel Watch
Now that the Assistant is enabled on your Pixel Watch, it’s now time to use it. On the Pixel Watch, there are three ways that you can activate the Assistant.
Press and hold the top button, this is the button above the haptic crown.When the screen is active, say “Hey, Google”.Or press the haptic crown and select Assistant from the app list. It’ll be towards the top, since it’s alphabetical and only lists “Assistant”.
After you’ve activated it, you can do whatever you want with the Google Assistant, just like you would with your phone, or Nest Mini smart speaker. That’s how you can enable and use the Google Assistant on the Pixel Watch.
