These new Pixel 6 leaks show us different colors and wallpapers
By now, we all have a solid idea of how these phones are going to look. We’ve all gotten used to that eccentric-looking camera visor across the back and the edge-to-edge display with the punch-hole. Hence, seeing these new renders shouldn’t come as any surprise. The colors that these phones will come in have Google’s quaint nomenclature. According to NoteBook Check, The Pixel 6 (base model) will come in Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam, and Stormy Black. The Pixel 6 Pro will come in Sorta Sunny, Cloudy White, and Stormy Black. While Cloudy White and Stormy Black are, well, white and black, the other colors are more nuanced. Kinda Coral is the peach color that we saw with the first Pixel 6 leaks. Sorta Seafoam is a pale greenish color, and Sorta sunny is more of a tan color.
So, what are these phones’ specs?
This is going to be the most exciting Pixel duo since the first back in 2016, and this is all because of the SoC. Google developed its own chip called the Tensor chip. The smartphone community is just dying to put it to the test and see how it stands up to Qualcomm’s and Samsung’s chips. The base Pixel 6 will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that can run at 90Hz, and it’s expected to be 1080p. The Tensor chip will be backed up by a modest 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. It’s expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. There will also be a 4,614 mAh battery. The Pixel 6 Pro will have some key differences like the slightly bigger 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can run at 120Hz. There will be 12GB of RAM onboard and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage. The camera package may be the same as the base model but with a 48-megapixel telephoto camera and a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The battery will be slightly bigger at 5,000mAh. These new leaked images only make us more excited about the Pixel 6. It will officially launch on October 19th, and the price isn’t too bad for a flagship duo. The base model could cost $749, while the Pro model could cost between $1,049 and $1,099.
