New OnePlus 10T update delivers both camera & charging improvements
The update does come in phases, though, so keep that in mind. Such updates are basically always staged, so this is no different. It may take up to a week or two for the update to arrive to everyone. Now, in regards to exact improvements, there are quite a few entries in the changelog. Let’s first talk about the ‘System’ changes. This update improves system stability and fluidity in general, but some specific changes are listed. The update optimizes the stability of applications in the background. It also optimizes the display, and OTG compatibility. On top of all that, the fingerprint recognition algorithm has been optimized, and thus the unlocking experience has been improved.
Performance of portrait mode, ultrawide camera & selfie camera has been improved
In regards to the ‘Camera’ section, there are three entries included. The company has optimized the shooting effect of portrait mode, and the shooting effect of the ultra-wide lens. On top of that, the effect of AI Retouch when using the front camera has been improved. The last entry in the changelog has to do with charging. OnePlus says that it fixed the occasional issue when SuperVOOC charging is not correctly detected by the OnePlus 10T. This update will arrive to your phone automatically, in other words, the device will let you know once it does. You can, however, check for it manually, if you’re impatient. That doesn’t guarantee you’ll get it straight away, but you may detect it sooner. If you’re impatient to install this update, go to the phone’s Settings, then System, and tap ‘System updates’.
