OnePlus partners up with UFC to promote its affordable 5G handset

This happened “in support of the North American launch of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G”. In the press release, it is said that OnePlus will be integrated into key UFC assets, as UFC’s new ‘Official Marketing Partner’. Those assets include broadcast features on select Pay-Per-views, as well as custom and original content that will be distributed across UFC-owned social media channels and digital platforms. On top of that, OnePlus will be featured as a Presenting Partner of select segments of Embedded. What is ‘Embedded’? It is UFC’s all-access video content series that features top UFC athletes. “We’re thrilled to support OnePlus’ commitment to bring affordable 5G to North America,” said Paul Asencio, UFC’s Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships. As a reminder, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G is available in the US via T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. That makes T-Mobile an exclusive wireless partner to OnePlus, for this handset.

The device was originally announced back in April

The OnePlus Nord N20 5G was originally announced at the end of April, that’s also when it was released. The phone was compared to the OnePlus X, due to its flat sides, though it’s considerably different, of course. This smartphone actually does have a lot to offer for the price, by the way it costs less than $300. It features a 6.43-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The Snapdragon 695 SoC fuels this smartphone, while a 4,500mAh battery sits on the inside of the device. 33W wired charging is supported here as well, but the same cannot be said for wireless charging. A 64-megapixel main camera is backed by a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth unit on the back. A single 16-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side.
