The OPPO Find X5 Pro testing process is shown in an official video

The video itself has a duration of around a minute and a half, and it’s embedded below. Various different tests are shown here, and the video is actually really well-made. Each device has to be assembled first, of course. So, it needs to go through the automatic PCB assembly line, and the camera module assembly. The MariSilicon X NPU is being implemented into the phone as part of the process. PCB assembly is mentioned here as well, and that’s where tests begin. Various camera tests are performed, including the lens distortion test, lens stabilization test, and others. The ‘aging test’ is also one of the tests OPPO conducts, and it’s exactly what you think it is. OPPO basically hooks up a ton of Find X5 Pro units in order to see how well will they perform after a while, under stress, of course. The OTA test has a number of smaller sub-tests, one of which is the OTA signal test in landscape holding. Waterproofing and rainproofing tests are also being conducted, as the Find X5 Pro is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Environment adaptability testing is also shown here

Environment adaptability testing is also mentioned here, and shown, and the same goes for camera testing in an imaging lab. The tumble tests and drop tests are being conducted to assess the phone’s toughness. OPPO actually drops the phone from various angles on marble surfaces to assess its durability. That is pretty much everything OPPO showed us here. Check out the video below, it’s not long, and yet it does reveal a lot of information.
