The Razer Pro Type Ultra keyboard is now more silent for increased focus
Last year’s version of the keyboard was a pretty good typing experience, but the new Ultra model should feel even better. Thanks to new silent mechanical switches and the included leatherette wrist rest. The keycaps also include the same soft touch coating, and Razer claims the keys are each rated for 80 million presses. More impressive is that the keyboard can now be connected to 4 devices simultaneously, and you can swap between them with only one button. Just like the last model, the Pro Type Ultra also connects to devices via Bluetooth or the HyperSpeed Wireless tech. Battery life has been improved too. With Razer claiming you can get up to 200 hours on a single charge.
A bigger mouse mat and a smaller mouse for maximizing desk space
When it comes to Razer’s other two new accessories, the changes mostly come down to size. The Pro Click Mini is just that. A mini version of the Pro Click mouse. While the Pro Glide XXL is a much larger mouse mat. It’s now extended to fit a larger space on your desk. And with the mouse being sized down you now have more space to work with. The mouse also uses silent, tactile switches so it should put out less noise along with the keyboard. And the switches are rated at 15 million clicks. It features the same multi-host connection of up to 4 devices as the keyboard too. Other features include a 4-way HyperScroll tilt wheel, a battery life of up to 725 hours on Bluetooth (up to 465 on 2.4GHz), and 7 buttons that can be programmed independently. You can pick up all three devices from today from Razer and some of its retail partners. The keyboard retails for $160, the mouse retails for $80, and the mouse mat retails for $30.
