For clarity, customization via the Bespoke fridge lineup is already effectively unique to Samsung. While they are also the most expensive of Samsung’s offerings in that area, currently priced starting at just under $2600, that’s not without good reason. The current lineup lets customers not only customize how many doors the fridge has and its style or layout. The company also lets buyers customize its door colors and materials. Including the FlexZone Drawer, freezer drawer, and french-style doors for the main fridge.
So what’s the new design element up for customization on Samsung Bespoke fridges?
The new design option, which Samsung is billing as “MyBespoke” refrigerator doors goes beyond colors. In fact, it goes well beyond any of the company’s previously in-place customization options for any product. When the new option arrives, it will allow customers to create something truly personal and unique by uploading their own designs for each individual door. That means that buyers could upload their favorite patterns or photos for use on their fridge doors. Provided that material isn’t copyrighted. Or, conversely, a business in need of a new refrigerator could potentially utilize its own branding and design. Complete with accent colors chosen for the above-mentioned FlexZone Drawer and freezer drawer. The new doors will also be interchangeable with existing Samsung Bespoke refrigerators. So those who want to simply upgrade can swap out their old doors for new ones that are just a bit more personal. Of course, customization of any product doesn’t necessarily come cheap. And buyers will need to account for the extra cost of customization here too, on top of the already high price of the Bespoke lineup as it is. The new doors will cost an extra $250 per door.
