Galaxy S20 FE Snapdragon August 2021 security update firmware arrives as G780GXXS2AUG4
Talking about the update, according to SamMobile, it arrives with firmware version G780GXXS2AUG4 for the Qualcomm Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G. Besides, the update is currently live for a limited number of regions. It includes Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. If you own the Galaxy S20 FE model number SM-780G and reside in any of the aforementioned regions, then you would have received an update notification. Just like every other incremental security update, this update simply bumps the security patch level to August 2021. Moreover, there aren’t any new features introduced with this update. Improvements in system performance and security are something to look out for. As always, Samsung is releasing this latest security patch for the Galaxy S20 FE via OTA in batches.
