Slime Labs 2 is a really fun 2D platformer
This game is definitely welcoming to newcomers. If you’ve ever played a 2D platformer before, you’ll be right at home here. The controls are as simple as possible, though mastering the game will take some time. Think of this as a simpler classic Super Mario. So, what’s the premise? Well, you’re playing as a pile of slime, and you need to escape a laboratory filled with danger, including various monsters, and other obstacles. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, yeah. It’s crazy, but it works for games like these. The controls are very simple, You can move right, left, crouch, and jump. That’s basically it, well, in addition to being able to attack enemies with your character’s sticky tongue. Just time those properly, and you’ll shine.
The graphics are not cutting edge, but that doesn’t really matter here
The graphics are also quite simple, and look dated, but that’s not unusual for 2D platformers. The game is free to play, though do note that ads in it can be quite obtrusive. That’s also not a rarity for games like these. You can, of course, get rid of those ads, if you’re willing to pay up. As is the case with games like these, they are quite addicting, so be warned. You can even customize your pile of slime in the game, just to keep things fresh, to a degree. There’s plenty to play through here, so the game will likely keep you occupied for a while. It’s an ideal game to kill some time, if you have shorter periods of boredom, you’re waiting for the bus to arrive, or anything of the sort.
